We are medical professionals who are used to helping patients and families quietly and confidentially behind closed doors.  Stepping out into the spotlight is a very foreign concept for us, making it very uncomfortable at times.  However, we are determined to give all of ourselves and overcome our weaknesses to help our charity open its doors to the first and only eye centre with surgery in the whole of Congo!  Please help us - we may be the ones going, but we need you to send us!  We simply cannot do it without you!  It is easier not to look, but please allow yourselves to look at the need of the people of Congo - 4 in 5 of the blind people there can see again through simple measures!  It would be an honour to partner with you!
